About This Game

How to Play

**Setup:** Shuffle the 106-card deck. Deal 6 cards each. Put the rest face-down as a draw pile.

**Card types:**

  • **Distance cards:** 25, 50, 75, 100, 200 miles. Play these to advance.
  • **Hazard cards:** Accident, Out of Gas, Flat Tire, Speed Limit, Stop (red light). Play on your opponent.
  • **Remedy cards:** Repairs, Gasoline, Spare Tire, End of Limit, Roll (green light). Play on yourself to fix hazards.
  • **Safety cards (4 total):** Driving Ace, Extra Tank, Puncture-Proof, Right of Way. Permanent immunity to related hazards.

**Gameplay:** Draw one card, play or discard one. You must play a Roll card (green light) to start moving. Opponents play hazards on you; you play remedies to recover. Distance cards can only be played when you have a green light and no unresolved hazards.

**Coup Fourré:** If an opponent plays a hazard and you hold the corresponding safety, play it immediately for bonus points.

**Winning:** First to exactly 1,000 miles. You can't go over. Bonus points for safeties and completing the race.
