About This Game

A Spanish fishing game where capturing sets of four ('ronda') is the main objective. Popular in South America and Spain.

How to Play

  1. Use Spanish 40-card deck
  2. Deal 4 cards each, 4 face-up on table
  3. Play one card to capture by matching rank
  4. Can also capture multiple cards summing to played value
  5. 'Ronda' = 4 of same rank in hand (announce for bonus)
  6. Capturing all table cards in one play = bonus
  7. When hands empty, deal 4 more
  8. Leftover table cards go to last capturer
  9. Score: most cards, most golds, gold 7, pairs of cards
  10. First to 40 points wins
