How to Play

  1. Use 33-card Tyrolean deck (unique regional design)
  2. Deal 5 cards each
  3. Before seeing cards, can raise stakes (blind perlaggen)
  4. Each player looks at hand, can raise again
  5. Cards have complex ranking varying by suit
  6. Must follow suit if possible
  7. Win with highest card of led suit (or trump)
  8. Track wins with special Perlaggen counting system
  9. Points for winning majority of tricks
  10. First to target score wins match
