🃏 40-card deck (French suited or Italian)

About This Game

A Tunisian fishing game similar to Scopa but with unique captures. The chkobba (sweep) is celebrated with players announcing it aloud.

How to Play

  1. Use 40-card Italian or French deck
  2. Deal 3 cards each, 4 face-up on table
  3. Play one card to capture matching rank
  4. Or capture cards summing to played card (A=1, J=8, Q=9, K=10)
  5. Chkobba: sweeping the table = 1 point (announce it!)
  6. When hands empty, deal 3 more
  7. Score: most cards, most diamonds, 7♦ (seba), primiera
  8. Each chkobba also counts
  9. If no one can reach 11, continue dealing
  10. First to 11 (or 21) points wins
