About This Game

Spain's national card game, played with Spanish cards. Players collect card points and declare marriages, with the trump Tute (King + Knight) being the highest declaration.

How to Play

**Setup:** Use 40-card Spanish deck. Deal 8 cards each. Flip one for trump.

**Gameplay:**

  1. Non-dealer leads
  2. Must follow suit and beat the leading card if able
  3. Higher card wins (trump beats non-trump)
  4. After each trick, draw to 8 cards (winner first)

**Declarations:**

  • **Tute:** Holding all 4 Kings or all 4 Queens = instant win
  • **Marriage:** K-Q of same suit shown after winning a trick = 40 pts (trump) or 20 pts (non-trump)

**Card Points:** Ace=11, 3=10, King=4, Queen=3, Jack=2

**Winning:** Score 101+ points or declare Tute.
