How to Play

**Setup:** Use 32-card deck (7-A in each suit). Deal 6 cards each in two batches of 3. Flip one for trump proposal.

**Bidding:**

  1. Non-dealer may "accept" (trump suit), "schmeiss" (pass/propose new deal), or "pass"
  2. Dealer may then accept or pass
  3. If both pass, second round: players can name any suit as trump
  4. Whoever accepts/names trump is the "maker"

**Deal Completion:** After trump is set, deal 3 more cards each (9 total).

**Gameplay:**

  • Must follow suit and beat the current winning card if possible
  • Jass (J of trump) is highest, then Menel (9 of trump)
  • Bella (K-Q of trump) scores 20 if declared

**Scoring:** Maker must score more than opponent or they get all points.
