About This Game

How to Play

  1. Use standard 52-card deck (no jokers)
  2. Need 12 checkers per player (or coins)
  3. Lay out cards in 8x8 grid
  4. Place checkers on starting positions
  5. Move checkers using Halma rules (jumps allowed)
  6. After every 3 moves per player:
  • Form 5-card poker hand from covered cards
  • Weaker hand removes one checker
  1. Continue until one player has only 4 checkers
  2. Player with more checkers wins
