About This Game
The original home poker game and the simplest variant. Each player receives five cards and can discard and redraw to improve their hand. Simple rules make it great for beginners while experienced players focus on reading opponents' draw patterns.

How to Play
- All players ante before the deal
- Deal five cards face-down to each player
- First betting round (before the draw)
- Starting with the player left of dealer, each player may discard 0-5 cards
- Dealer gives replacement cards from the deck
- Second betting round (after the draw)
- If more than one player remains, showdown
- Best 5-card hand wins
- Drawing 0 cards is called 'standing pat'
- Number of cards drawn gives information about hand strength
