Chuck-a-luck

Setup

1. Use 3 standard dice (traditionally in a cage)
2. One player is the "banker"
3. Players bet on numbers 1-6

Gameplay

1. Players place bets on one or more numbers (1-6)
2. Banker rolls all 3 dice
3. Payouts based on how many dice show your number

Payouts

• Your number appears once: 1 to 1 (win your bet)
• Your number appears twice: 2 to 1 (win double)
• Your number appears three times: 3 to 1 (win triple)
• Your number doesn't appear: Lose your bet

House Edge

• This game favors the banker
• Player expected loss: about 8% per bet
• Carnival variant has worse odds

Two-Player Variant

• Take turns being banker
• Track cumulative winnings
• Play set number of rounds

Winning

• Player with most chips after all rounds
